Every product photo you see here is the real thing — no filters smoothing out the imperfections, no AI dreaming up what my earrings could look like. Just my phone camera, a sunny window, and a lightbulb helping out when the light needs it. Call me a wannabe photographer — I'm striving to bring you true photos of your next favorite earrings.

  • Every product photo is taken by me, on my phone, of a real pair from my shop
  • Natural gemstones and some components vary slightly piece to piece — that's part of what makes them one of a kind, not a flaw in the product photo
  • No AI-generated product photos, ever — every product photo shows a real, actual pair from my shop
  • Descriptions are written with some AI assistance, but every word is reviewed and true to the piece
  • Limited equipment, unlimited effort — not to chase perfection, just to show you what's real. If you'd like another angle or shot, just ask and I'll do my best to capture it for you

Every pair is made with care, using quality materials chosen to last — because honesty about my process should never mean cutting corners on what I create. Truth is, if I could wear every piece I've ever made, I would.

My Story

No mud, no lotus.

Every earring in this shop carries a little bit of Floyd County with it — the hills, the quiet, and a lot of years spent building something by hand.

Before ElmasEarringsandMore, there was Elma's Closet — a little brick-and-mortar shop right here in Floyd, Virginia, where I got to know so many of you face to face. That shop is closed now, but everything I learned there — about what makes a piece feel special, about really listening to what people love — came with me into this next chapter.

I believe in the lotus. I believe that the hardest seasons are often what grows the most beautiful things, and that's true for flowers and it's true for people. Every pair of earrings I make is a small reminder of that: that you can come from mud and still bloom.

I make each piece by hand, one at a time, usually with a good show playing in the background and a houseplant or two watching over my workspace. Whether you're drawn to a gemstone with meaning behind it, a beachy shell piece that feels like a little vacation, or a Becoming piece made from something reclaimed and given new life — I hope you find something here that feels like you.
